Travertine The 910 acre property is located in the City of La Quinta in the Coachella Valley. The project has an underlying entitlement for over 1400 du, a 500-room resort hotel with a commercial component and two 18-hole golf courses. The 1995 approval was absent the analysis of the projects hydrological needs and is in the process of being re-planned for a less intense project footprint to allow flood control facilities. The project has biological opinion for the Peninsular Bighorn Sheep and the ultimate solution has performance criteria for this unique species. |
